Spin (Indoor Cycling) Classes

Women taking an indoor cycling class at Every Body Balance

Indoor Cycling Descriptions and FAQs

I hear different terms like Spin®, Indoor Cycling, Cycling, and Spinning® — what’s the difference?

Most of these terms refer to exercise on a stationary bike, usually in a comfortable indoor environment with music and guided instruction. Spin® and Spinning® are trademarked terms associated with specific indoor cycling programming and equipment.

What makes Every Body Balance different from other cycling studios?

Every Body Balance offers a challenging and welcoming indoor cycling experience, sometimes paired with cool-down stretching, core work, abs, or yoga to round out your workout. We also offer great instructors, motivating playlists, and a supportive studio atmosphere.

Do I need previous cycling experience?

Not at all. Every Body Balance welcomes beginners as well as experienced riders. Our instructors help with bike setup and provide guidance and modifications so you can ride at a level that feels right for you.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable workout clothes that allow you to move and breathe easily. Supportive athletic shoes work well unless you prefer to use spin shoes.

Do I need to bring my own water and towel?

It is a good idea to bring your own water bottle and towel. There is also a filtered water bottle refill station down the hall.

Can I ride if I’m pregnant?

Indoor cycling can be appealing during pregnancy because it is a low-impact cardio workout. If you are pregnant or have any specific concerns, please consult your doctor before participating.

Do I need my own spin shoes?

No special shoes are required. You can wear spin shoes if you like, or supportive sneakers. Our bikes are equipped with both cycling clips and toe cages.

How do I schedule my Every Body Balance classes?

No pre-registration is required for most classes. Before your first visit, you can sign up online, complete the standard waiver, and purchase classes or memberships through our membership portal.

What are my options for classes or memberships at Every Body Balance?

You can choose from drop-ins, 10-class passes, or unlimited monthly or annual memberships. Class passes and memberships can be used for Spin, Yoga, Barre, and many other classes offered at our Southborough location.

Does Every Body Balance offer military discounts?

Yes. We offer a 10% discount for military members and first responders. Please email us for a discount code.

Most classes are 60 minutes unless otherwise noted.
