Pilates Classes at Every Body Balance

Pilates is a powerful way to build core strength, improve posture, and create better balance throughout the body. At Every Body Balance, our Pilates classes are designed to help you move with greater control, stability, and confidence, whether you are just getting started or already have experience.

Our classes focus on mindful movement, alignment, breath, and deep core engagement. Pilates can help strengthen the muscles that support the spine, improve flexibility and coordination, and encourage more efficient movement patterns in everyday life.

The Benefits of Pilates

Pilates is especially effective for strengthening the abdominals, supporting the back, and improving posture without unnecessary strain. A regular Pilates practice can also enhance joint mobility, balance, body awareness, and muscular endurance, while helping develop long, lean strength.

Because Pilates emphasizes controlled movement and concentration, many students also find it helps reduce stress and improve focus. It can be a valuable complement to other forms of exercise or a strong practice on its own.

Mat and Reformer Options

At Every Body Balance, we offer Pilates options for a variety of goals and comfort levels, including mat-based classes and reformer-based training. Our instructors provide guidance, support, and modifications so students can work at an appropriate pace while building strength and confidence.

Most classes are 60 minutes unless otherwise noted.

  • Please remove your shoes before entering the studio space.
  • Please leave cell phones outside the studio so you can relax and focus.
  • Drink plenty of water. Good hydration helps you enjoy class more comfortably.
  • If you arrive before the previous class has ended, please wait in the lobby area.

Pilates with Core Props [MODERATE]

A studio Pilates class using small props to assist with proper body alignment and mechanics, or to increase the intensity of selected exercises.

Mat Pilates [MODERATE]

A mat-based Pilates class with the Every Body Balance difference, focused on core strength, posture, controlled movement, and body awareness.

Reformer Pilates [MODERATE]

Reformer Pilates uses spring-based resistance and guided movement to build core strength, improve alignment, enhance flexibility, and challenge balance in a low-impact but highly effective format.

Yoga and Pilates Combo [MODERATE]

Enjoy the benefits of both Yoga and Pilates in one balanced workout. This combination helps build a body that is strong as well as lean, graceful, and efficient, while also encouraging flexibility, body awareness, and stress reduction.

Gentle Stretch Pilates [GENTLE]

Learn the core concepts of proper body mechanics using Pilates principles including breathing, alignment, focus, concentration, and control in a slower-paced, supportive format.
